It is earnestly desired that the book will successfully reach a point of compromise between two mutually contradicting demands of a modern Pharmacology textbook: adequacy of updated information on the one hand, and paucity of time to go through them in their entirety, on the other. However, every effort has been made to impart felicity and lucidity to the text, thereby making it as student friendly as it could be.
