Aim of introducing book Dravyaguna Vigyan Volume 1 is confined to cover the syllabus of Dravyaguna subject of B.A.M.S. Degree examinations as proposed by Central Council of Indian Medicine. Some exclusive modern topics like pharmacology was introduced in this volume, because the allocation of 30 marks in Paper 1-Part B. The available books on Dravyaguna subject are not included few topics and Modern pharmacology. In this work I tried my level best to give a brief knowledge of Dravyaguna basics and Modern pharmacology in very simple English, so that readers can understand well. About the Author Dr.Polepalli.Mallikarjuna rao, is an Academician, Clinician and Author in Ayurveda. He is the son of Sri Polepalli Sambasivudu and Sri Polepalli Varalakshmi, born on 27-08-1981, Giddalur Mandal, Parkasham District, Andhrapradesh.
