Janani, presently working as Assistant Professor (Agricultural Extension) in Adhiyamaan College of Agriculture and Research, Athimugam, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.She has completed her Ph.D., degree in Agricultural Extension in Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. She has won "Young Scientist Award". She has been awarded with Rajiv Gandhi National Merit Fellowship for pursuing her doctoral degree. She has published several research articles, popular articles and review articles in reputed national and international journals/seminars. She has authored books titled Extension Methods at a Glance, Objective Agricultural Sciences and Agricultural Extension - A Glimpse. Dr. M. A. Vennila, has started her career in TNAU as Assistant Professor and completed 9 years of service. She has been awarded with UAS Gold medal for distinction, Dr. Dwarkianath Gold medal, Dr.Premnath Singh Gold medal and Dr. Jalihal Gold Medals for Best Ph.D student. She has participated in 22 training/ conference/ symposium/ workshop/ winter school organized at National and International levels. She had obtained and operated nine externally funded projects as Principal Investigator and nine projects as Co-Principal Investigator. She has been awarded with Best Paper Presentation (Oral) and got Certificate of appreciation from the Director of Extension Education for organizing the ICM in Millet training efficiently. She had handled six ODL courses for B.F. Tech and Certificate course for Input dealers and guided 9 undergraduate student projects during their RAWE, HRWE and Agro Industrial tie up programmes. She is the author of 17 books, 14 book chapters, 14 conference /seminar papers/research article at national level, 15 research note, 46 popular articles, 32 booklets and 15 pamphlets.
