This book creates an awareness of the special role of women and emancipate them from oppressions they are subject to subtly and all too often openly in civil society, even in the church. It is written with deep personal insight in a simple but erudite style. Rev. Dr. Thomas Varghese has shown through the Bible the evidence that God is against all violence wrought on women. He has also obtained data of women who have been abused or hurt. Church leaders need to read this book and take upon themselves the action needed in this major justice issue.
