The book Along the Foot Prints of Lord Ram outlines the story of Ramayana in brief, gives insight about Ram as an ideal character and his leadership qualities in today’s context. It also describes in brief about the paths travelled by Ram to Mithila, Paths travelled during his exile, places linked to him especially in Chhattisgarh and Odisha including Dandakaranya area and Sita’s views on Dandakaranya, which holds good even after centuries. The spots linked to him are scenic and many of these places still hold the religious importance. A travel around these will be an interesting tour and there is great scope for developing a potential Ram Tourism Circuit in the country and specifically in these two states. Through this book one will know, how Lord Ram had influenced the art and culture of these two states. The author is of the view that instead of exploiting his name, more emphasis should be given in practising his ideologies, which spreads the message of Dharma, loyalty, devotion to parents and our duties both as a citizen and ruler of the country.
