The selection was made from “The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda” published by the Advaita Ashrama. This book contains 1863 quotes of Swami Vivekananda (1863 is the year in which Swami Vivekananda was born). These 1863 sayings of his have been divided into 12 Chapters (January 12 is Swami Vivekananda’s birthday). It is essentially 12 Chapters directing the individual towards that One Ultimate goal of Perfection and Providing 1863 helpful instructions to attain it (12-01-1863). Additionally, some soul-stirring poetry of Swami Vivekananda has also been included.
