Between the Two Dams is a collection of poems written in Maithili by Taranand Viyogi, which has been translated by Prabhat Jha in English. The poems written by Taranand Viyogi reflects upon many themes which are personal, social or political. The book is a gateway to the world of Mithila Lok. Lok in the sense of people as well as the land. Most of these poems center around the Koshi region or people belonging to that region. Apart from that, there are many poems which give us an insight over the current political scenario.
