Corruption is a common word widely used all over the world these days, especially in India. All the political parties, religions, organisations, and corporates are using this idiom in an extended way. Bible talks against corruption, evil practices, unethical things, so on and so forth. Corruption means the process by which a word or expression is changed from its original state to one regarded as erroneous or debased, that’s a common definition for corruption. In the political scenario, we can define corruption as “Dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery”. Corruption in a simple sense for a common man, it is a process of decay or rotten state like a potato decays or an egg will be into rotten state. Usually we are talking about the corruption in the society with a special reference to political parties, or a politician but corruption started right from the creation itself. God created man, put him under God’s care, protection and God gave him free will. Man was not a slave under God’s authority, He gave him freedom. Man was created in his own image. When we think about image, we are always talking about the likeness but God made man in his image that means God gave him Godly attributes with good qualities and ethical standards. God’s attributes are love, compassion, integrity, holiness, faithfulness, obedience etc. But man disobeyed, he revolted with God. Then there was a breakage in the relationship between God and man. This breakage in relationship called ‘Apostasy’ that means away from God and this affected the whole mankind because Adam was a corporate personality. He represents the whole mankind.
