Decent work is one among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of UNDP, to be achieved by 2030. Every nation aspires to achieve decent work for its workforce in the long run. The book "Decent Work in India is an attempt to understand the concept in the Indian context and work towards the achievement of this goal. This book incorporates the contribution of authors from different parts of the nation on diverse aspects of the title. The objective has been to bring out the extent of deficit in decent work in India and to give policy recommendations.
