It is true that science and technology have added a lot of comfort to the lives of human beings. Yet we cannot allow technology to control our lives and deteriorate links with the environment. As ecology and environment protection are the leading contemporary international issues, the book "ECO-CRITICAL STUDY OF CONTEMPORARY INDIAN ENGLISH NOVELS" at the outset aims to establish the fact that 'Ecocriticism' is the need of the hour to sustain the environment.
