Electronic Warfare (EW) is termed as military action involving the use of electromagnetic and directed energy to attack the enemy. Electronic warfare operations are the integrated planning and employment of military capabilities to achieve desired effects across the electromagnetic battle space in support of operational objectives - electronic attack, electronic protection and EW support being its operational elements. This book provides guidance to the army commanders on how the electromagnetic spectrum, can impact their operations and how friendly EW operations can be used to gain an advantage.
