about the Author: Prashant is an Indian historian and a numismatist. He is the Associate Professor of Ancient Indian History and Archaeology at the University of Lucknow. He has been awarded four gold medals and he has authored 12 books. Some of them are Joint Coin-types of Ancient India, Aspects of Ancient Indian Numismatics, Coins of Ancient India, Art Motifs on Ancient Indian Coins and The Apracharajas.
