About the Book
Christians in India strive to live a life of integrity and morality in accordance with their faith and in keeping with the values of the Indian Constitution. They face various ethical issues in their personal lives such as relationships, gender bias, finance, social justice, corruption, lack of fidelity and so on. These issues are rooted in the social, cultural, economic, and political fabric of the country. Ethical issues in daily life also include discrimination based on caste, gender, religion, or economic status. Other less talked about issues include environmental degradation, which is a growing ethical concern in India. Pollution, deforestation, and climate change have a severe impact on the country's vulnerable communities. There is thus need for change of attitude, structures and thinking. This international conference brought to awareness ethical conduct, that included transparency, accountability, and a commitment to social justice. It led the participants to an understanding of how to address these ethical challenges in a way that aligns with biblical principles and values, to ensure a healthy life.
