The present work Graham Swift’s Novels: A Study is partly the author’s PhD work and partly his extra studyof Swift’s novels in order to make a complete study of Graham Swift’s novels. Accordingly the work has the following chapters: History and Literature, Shuttlecockas a War Novel, Waterland as a Historical Meta-fiction, Out of this Worldand History as Photographic Realism, Last Ordersand Making of National Identity, The Light of Day and Spying, Confinement and Alienation; and the Other Novels. This is a rare work on Graham Swift so far and this study may facilitate further studies on this great writer.
