About the Book

Humayun S.K, is an Assistant Professor, Department of English, Surendranath College for Women, University of Calcutta. His areas of interest include interdisciplinary studies, contemporary literary and cultural theory, Dalit literature, Afro-American, Postcolonial, and Partition literature. He has presented some papers at national and international seminars and conferences. Suraiya Shahin has worked as a faculty of English at Centre For Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. She has completed her M.Phil in English Literature from Department of English, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. Presently she is doing Ph.D. in Nigerian Literature from Jamia Millia Islamia university. Her Book titled Dalit Women in Indian Patriarchal Society published by Authorspress, New Delhi with ISBN 978-93-5529-158-5, in January 2022. She has contributed One Chapter in the book titled Different Dimensions of Dalit Discourse edited by Bijender Singh, and published by Atlantic Publisher & Distributors, New Delhi, in 2020. She has also contributed one Chapter in the book titled The Centre Margin Conflict, Theory And Praxis, edited by Dr. Nilanjan Chakraborty, and published by Upanayan Publications, New Delhi, 2022. She has published several papers in reputed National and International journals and also presented many papers in National and International Seminars and Conferences. She got award for the Best Paper at JTA International Conference Jamia Millia Islamia University in Feb 2020. Her areas of interest lie in Indian Literature, African Literature and Gender Studies.
