In this book the author deals with a critical subject that affects the educational and economic welfare of every child in India. Every parent must read this. The Government of India is about to change the educational system in India radically. Ironically this fact has not received much media attention and so not many people are aware of it. The author makes an unbiased intellectual analysis of the proposed educational policy. Although not stated explicitly in the book, it is obvious to the reader that the current government wants to use education as a tool to favor high caste Hindus oppressing everyone else. Prof. Nesan describes how the proposed policy is fundamentally wrong and proposes a Society driven educational policy that would treat everyone equally. He deals with the injustice of NEET, profit motives of private education, the pitfalls of university ratings and accreditation, and many more issues.
