The aim of the book is to elaborately discuss the concepts that are frequently adopted and used in the metric study. Inquisitiveness in indexes, citation analysis, author productivity is ever increasing and majority of the research in library and information science is based on Bibliometrics, Scientometrics, webometrics, etc. Realizing the need and importance in the present environment, especially in the academic environment, this book, Library Analytics has been written. It is hoped that this book would be immensely used as a text book in library and information science courses and fill the knowledge gap between academicians and research. This book is an outcome of the rich research experience on research by the authors. This book has nine chapters which are: i) Metric Study: An Overview; ii) Scientometric Tools and Techniques; iii) Impact Factor; iv) Indices: An Overview; v) Citation Analysis; vi) Web Based Metrics; vii) Academic Social Network; viii) Global Ranking and ix) Modern Refined Indexes.
