This book, Loneliness and Anxiety: A Psycho-Pastoral Analysis explores the gradation of Loneliness and Anxiety experienced by both the educators and students during the Pandemic 2020. It also reconnoiters the hazardousness of social isolation which came in the form of lockdown as human beings cannot live in isolation. Along with it, it discusses the importance of educational institutions which acts as a platform for individual growth, change and development due to association with different clusters; and the importance of psychological freedom, sense of acceptance, recognition, respect, and warmth which cannot be replaced by advanced technology and high-tech gadgets. Since 2013, she serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Christian Ministry at a Senate Affiliated College (University). She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Nagaland University, Nagaland and a Master’s degree in Christian Ministry from United Theological College Bangalore (Senate of Serampore College/University). She also earned her Ph.D in Counselling Psychology under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences from Sam Higginbotham University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad (Prayagraj). Dr Nishi Tripathi earned her Master’s and D.Phil in Psychology from the University of Allahabad in the area of Health Psychology. At present, she is the Head of the Department of Arts & Social Sciences at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad (Prayagraj).
