Women as a category is fragmented and without an intersectional lens, efforts to confront inequalities and injustices towards women are expected to just end up prolonging systems of inequalities. The predicament of women varies globally. The unequal power relation between women and men is central to explaining the marginalization of women. Consequently, delving into different areas which affect women disproportionately may help us in understanding women’s concerns and various ‘politics’ associated with women’s fragmented and fluid positions.The present volume presents with a bouquet of twenty enticing themes connecting women in different and varied perspectives from women’s right to life traversing through women’s relation with right to life, education, food, sports, yoga, medical practice, artificial reproduction, marginalization, entrepreneurships, different violence meted out to them to women in poetry.
