This is a curious anthology compiled by two very well-known poets whose works over the years have greatly shuffled the literary world in the kind of impact they make in telling their stories about the world around them. Human abuse and torture that often find expression in the lives of the weak and the vulnerable, especially in the lives of women and children will hurt a peaceful soul hard enough to express a form of disapproval in angst and disgust. These are musings we cannot possibly ignore in a world where we seek fairness and decency and where the law exists and must work.
