This book is very unique. The author narrated the experience about his days of graduation in Engineering in a very lucid manner. It is the collection of untold stories about the globally famous institute National Institute of Technology- Durgapur. In India presently there are thirty one NITs and NIT-Durgapur is one of the oldest NIT of India. The author Prof. Mukhopadhyay graduated from NIT-Durgapur in the year 1986 and he narrated the experience of four years (1982-1986) in a very systematic and chronological way. Till date lakhs of students passed from IITs, NITs and IIMs, but probably none of them authored a book about their ALMA MATER. Probably Prof. Mukhopadhyay is the first NITIAN and INDIAN in the history of India to take such noble initiative. This was his dream since the days of his graduation. The author tried his best to portray all the incidents in very lucid and simple English without distorting the facts.
