Farm Machinery and Power Engineering is one of the disciplines of the Agricultural Engineering. It mainly deals with the Farm Machinery, Farm Power, and Ergonomics in Agriculture, Testing and Evaluation of Farm Machinery, Soil Dynamics in Tillage and Traction, Instrumentation, Energy in Agriculture and Manufacturing Technology. The main objective of this book is to furnish the important information of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering. This book is designed in the view of competitive examinations like ICAR-NET, ARS, JRF, SRF and other competitive examinations of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering. Many of our juniors helped us in preparing this book namely Chandrasekhar and A. Kesav for going through the manuscript of the first edition and making useful suggestions.
