This book is intended for training to all enginers and agriculture officers of the each irrigation department, top manager of the water management departments. Chapter 2,3,6,7,10 and 11 must not only be taught to engineers and agriculture officers jointly, but made to practice and report. Other remaining chapters are important for all irrigation engineers. Portions as indicated in chapter 10 shoulds also be taught to the Watre masters of WUA. The syllabus for them has also discussed in Chapter 10. Serious question of what, hom, why, how much and how to train are also discussed in Chapter 11. Colleges and universities include it in their courses. Without any investment, efficiency and food production can be increased by 10%, simply by a good operation of irrigation projects and evaluation of irrigation fields. Further it can be irrigation system in the fields. All possible eforts have been made to avoid errors/omissions yet some mistake might have occurred. Reader may kindly inform the same for improvement in next edition or issues of corrigendum.
