About the Author
Mahinda Deegalleis a visiting Scholar at University of Cambridge and Professor Emeritus in Religions, Philosophies and Ethics, Bath Spa University, United Kingdom. He is the author of Popularizing Buddhism: Preaching as Performances in Sri Lanka (State University of New York Press, 2006) He has edited several volumes including Buddhism, Conflict and Violence in Modern Sri Lanka (Routledge,2006) and a recent volume Dharmayatra (2022). His research concentrates on Buddhist Preaching, Ethics of War, Violence, Diaspora Buddhism, Minorities in Pluralist Societies, Interreligious Dialogue and Religious Conversions and IHL.
