The book provides a comprehensive idea about the primate relatives, behavioural adaptation, hominisation process and information from fossil records. This book will help to improve understandings on the process of human evolution and also for better understanding about physical anthropology in a systematic and scientific manner. About the Author: Dr. Geetanjali Panda received her Ph.D in 2015 entitled Micro-Perspectives of Coastline Culture: A Study of Fishing Caste and Communities Living around Chilka Lake. She has wide experience in teaching and guiding students, graduate and post graduate students. Presently, she is working as lecture in BJB (Autonomous) College, Bhubaneswar. Apart from her teaching experience, she has published number of research papers in State, National and International Journals. Her first book Banjara Tribe of Kalahandi: Culture, Rituals and Religion is based on the field work done among Banjara tribe. Besides her research works, she teaches on Biological Anthropology, Fundamentals of Human Origin and Evolution, Human Growth and Forensic Anthropology.
