About the Author: Dr. Nazmul Hussain Laskar is an Assistant Professor and Head in the Department of Political Science in Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Govt.Model College, Katlicherra, Hailakandi, affiliated to the Assam University, Silchar, Assam. His area of interest is Political Sociology, Human Rights, Indian Government and Politics, Local Self Government and Tribal Studies. He published 29 research papers in reputed journals and 18 chapters in edited books. He also presented 48 research papers in national and international seminars and webinars. He delivered many invited lectures in national and international seminars and webinars. He completed a minor research project funded by the UGC. He received many awards in Debate, Quiz and Speech competition from various institutions and NGOs. Nasrin Jabin is a Research Fellow at the Social Science Research Council, Ministry of Planning, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. She has currently been working as a Senior Researcher at the Center for Critical and Qualitative Studies, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. She formerly worked with different NGO and INGO like BRAC, UNDP, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. She has attended several national and international conferences.
