In a short span between the previous edition and this revised one, there have been radical changes in the judicial interpretations. In Harjinder Singh v. Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, it has been held by the Supreme Court that there has been a visible shift in the Courts approach in dealing with cases involving interpretation of social welfare legislation.
