About the Book

.... a nice exposition of the Quest and Reflections of the Sakti Tattva, is essentially a study of the Agamic-Sakti Siddhanta, Sahasranama-Paddhati and Stotram for understanding and analyzing the ‘Sakti Tattva’ popularly adored as the Divine Mother. This is to be understood as the main source of all that exists, which is responsible for the creation of the universal flux, with its sustenance power and further assimilating it within the Primal seed of the Para-Sakti. The Sakti as seen in manifestation is phenomenal in essence. It is very subtle power, associated with the ‘Sphara’— an extension through ‘Spanda’ or vibrational throb. It is the cyclic functioning of the universal scene of existence as well for coordinating all the impulses of the individual soul, with the Primal source which is Parma Tattva, with the Sakti Tattva, also revered as the Para-Prakrti. The axis and rim of energy within the cyclic order, provides a view of reality. This view is a great road-map for reaching to the aura of the Sakti Tattva. The Para-Sakti offers every opportunity to the seeker of truth, through its ‘Paddhati’. Every where the Matr Tattva element of Motherhood is viewed, working for transforming the devotees to the highest and the purest. This is the essence of undergoing from gross to the subtle. Thus the role of Para-Sakti is to create sustain and dissolve, what is already in manifestation. Thus making Siva to absorb the seed of all existence that has been created by the Para-Sakti. The book is for understanding the application of the Agamas in the life pattern of the vast majority of aspirants, who wittingly or unwittingly follow the Agamic tradition in their religio-cultural pattern of life. It is a logical evolution, which is beautiful and meaningful.
