Reflections Collected Papers, is primarily inspired by the philosophy and social theory of Jurgen Habermas. The papers in the volume aim to discuss themes, such as, 'knowledge society to ethical society, the academia and democracy', 'critical religiosity, democracy and the Indian context', 'critical theory and the critique of Indian traditions and democracy', 'the ideal of understanding and interpretation from critical hermeneutics' point of view', 'interculturality and ethics', 'critique of knowledge', 'the intersubjective idea of science', 'the critical theory of cosmopolitan thinking and Indian nationalism', 'the critical theory/hermeneutics of solidarity rights and community', 'Christian educational institutions from a critical theoretical point of view', 'the concept of authenticity and critical theory', 'philosophy and literature', 'critical religiosity', and the 'relationship between knowledge, rights and theorization'. The discussions in the papers also intend to suggest a possible and desirable transformative dimension of intercultural hermeneutics as they engage with Habermas's social theory and philosophy and the critical hermeneutics that animates them.
