Research is systematic investigative process employed to increase or revise current knowledge by discovering new facts. The researcher have the responsibility of ensuring the research process is viable and the research results are trustworthy. This edited volume consists of 30 papers from Library and Information Science Professionals in the National level under five themes; i) Research ethics in library and information science, ii) Envisioning the quality and writing in research, iii) Issues and challenges in LIS research, iv) Library and information science education and research, v) User studies in library and information science, and vi) Studies in metric analysis of research literature.
