Dr. Shashidhar G. Vaidya, a native of Sortur, a village in Gadag district of Karnataka, obtained his M. A. degree from Gulbarga University Gulbarga, and Ph. D. from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He has been on the staff of the Department of English, B. E. Society’s Merchants’ Degree college, Byadgi(affiliated to Karnatak University Dharwad)since 1989. Presently he is serving as Associate Professor of English. Dr. Shashidhar G. Vaidya writes in English as well as Kannada. His critical articles are published in regional, national as well as international peer reviewed journals.
