About the Authors: About the Author Professor Malashri Lal, Department of English, recently retired from her academic and administrative positions at the University of Delhi. She is currently the Convener of the English Advisory Board of the Sahitya Akademi. Her specialisation is in Literature, Women and Gender Studies about which she has fifteen books including In Search of Sita: Revisiting Mythology (Penguin 2009), and Tagore and the Feminine: A Journey through Translations (Sage 2015). Shormishtha Panja is Professor, Department of English, University of Delhi. Her PhD is from Brown University and her areas of specialisation are Renaissance studies, Shakespeare in India, Indian feminism and visual culture. She has been the President, Shakespeare Society of India, Head, Department of English and Dean, Arts Faculty, University of Delhi and has been awarded fellowships at the Folger Shakespeare Library and the Huntington.
