This book certainly specifies the SC & ST demographic status of Odisha, India and their potential skill. It is a fact that, nobody in this earth can survive in life with the government support through the different schemes and subsidies, rather the citizen's own inherent potential skills have major role for their survival. The Ghantra community people at Rayagada and Mayurbhanja are producing excellent brass metal craft through loss-wax-casting method, even if without understanding the theoretical knowledge behind this, which can be an area of research for technical people. Mahali community leads the bamboo craft sector and now hijacked by other communities of better economical class.
