The skills among youth play a major role in making country self-reliant and it is evident that the future also belongs to the Indian youth who will contribute in nation building with their enhanced skills so as to pave the way for inclusive development through social and technical innovations. This ongoing Pandemic has created a serious challenge to the whole world; however, the entrepreneurially curious youths have found opportunities in this situation and are proving their talent through skill-preneurship. The Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has motivated youth and other stakeholders in making career in skill based entrepreneurship development. Also, the government of India has announced several conducive policies for creating a favourable ecosystem for entrepreneurs and existing businesses. The Government of India’s mission on making country self-reliant has successfully empowering several pillars required for economic empowerment. Innovation and skill development are two important enablers which help creating unique business ideas. It has been seen that skill development is the driver of economic wellbeing through job creation and socio-economic development. The technological development has also been contributing as an enabler in the country to help generate innovating ideas and business models. It is noticed that the confidence of the rest of world has increased for India through there is a strong need for skilled people to make country developed and sustainable. The recent initiative of Government, the Start-up India, has also boosted the morale youth who are aiming for entrepreneurial career.
