The theory of human capital propagated by the Nobel laureates-Theodore William Schultz and Gary Stanley Becker has long proved the effectiveness of investments in education.It is confirmed that education contributes to increased earnings in the longterm.Therefore,the community which lags in education is also an economically weaker section of the society.
