It is a paradox that the beautiful Kashmir Valley is over-shadowed with terrorism. An unfortunate fact but we have to admit it with a pinch of salt. This is not correct in totality. J&K in one of the most peaceful States of this country inhabited by peace loving people. Some people of a few Districts of the Valley are succumbing to pressure and the cessasionist forces are misguiding them. A few people have joined them but the projection is otherwise in the print and visual media. It is not easy to summarise terrorism in few pages. It is becoming a regular phenomenon and matter of concern for the globe. This book “Terrorism an absolute evil” is an endeavour to summarise the important aspects of this absolute evil. A critical study of the facts and circumstances will definitely give impetus to the deliberation going on and to the people and organizations who are sincerely engaged to counter this menace. The only positive aspect is that the leaders across the world are joining hands to fight this evil and this has also become a prime agenda of the various international platforms. Barring a few, the entire international community are not only condemning this but want to get rid of it within no time.
