The well crafted book includes the origin and development of apocalyptic ideologies in the Mediterranean world, a well-defined word study and exegesis, and perspectives from a postcolonial reading strategy. This work has meaningfully exposed many genuine institutions and insights associated with the apocalyptic literature during the era of the early church. It was the apocalyptic ideology that sustained the post-Apostolic Church with a very strong literature motif. Most powerful imperial institutions were challenged by the people of apocalyptic ideology by keeping a Christian worldview.
