A ‘Not So Subtle’ critique of the military engagements and in some cases, lack of those, in the long running India-Pakistan dance of military and diplomacy. Written in a free-flowing and extremely relatable narration, this book is a wonderfully differentperspective on the issue. What makes this book unique is that it is perhaps the first such book by an army officer who is still serving, and has himself been both an active and passive participant in this Tango that he writes about, straight from the heart. The unique writing style of the Author is also a welcome and refreshing change, especially on such a topic, making it almost sound like a story that he is telling to the readers!
