The author has progressed from writing short stories and articles to writing a novel. This is author's maiden attempt at writing a novel. The author graduated from Government Post graduate College Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh and got an MBA degree in marketing from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. There after he worked in Himachal Pradesh administrative services for four years before joining Indian Revenue Service in 2008. At present, he is working as Deputy Commissioner in Central Excise and Service Tax at Faridabad in NCR Delhi. His father being in defence services, the author's upbringing has been throughout India and this has also been a primary motivation for writing this novel because of his varied experience in different place of the country. He is an avid trekker of Himalayan country and possesses keen interest in Urdu poetry and Sufi music.
