As architects when we design buildings or a set of buildings, it is important to not only understand the site on which we build, but also the complexities of which the architectural intervention are a part of. It becomes imperative to understand the components of the city of which the site is a part of. In doing so we are equiped to take informed decisions and design in total harmony with the systems of which we are a part of.
