The scholarly papers collected in this DICSEP volume present substantial, innovative, systematic, interesting and vivid contributions. The editors present this book to the scholarly community with the desire that it may be a valuable contribution to scientific knowledge in the field of Sanskrit studies, and that, like the previous volumes of papers stimulated by the Dubrovnik International Conferences on the Sanskrit Epics and Puranas, it may encourage researchers, who in any way deal with the Sanskrit epics Mahabharata and Ramayana or Puranas, to further work, discoveries and enriching scholarly discussions.
